Concerns IGNOU Community College started in a small way in 2005. Few young women attended the first year and, having graduated, they all got jobs and were able to support themselves and their families.  Each year the numbers have increased. In April 2011 40 women graduated and most of them  found  employment and few of them are continuing their education.

Concerns Community College in Bangalore is now registered with The Indira Gandhi Open  University in Delhi.

Many women who would otherwise miss out on further education have been give a chance to study.  On completion of the course, they get a certificate which helps enormously when searching for jobs.
